Xenoglossophobia (from Latin xeno, "foreign", and glosso, "tongue", "language") is the fear of foreign languages. The fear came about when forced to learn the foreign language, which is often difficult.
Agitation, anger, and tension can result from xenoglossophobia. People with this phobia may become avoidant and even aggressive. Others may feel panic attack symptoms, and require therapy and/or anti-depressants to manage their emotions.
