Ablutophobia increases the risk of having this phobia significantly.
Past trauma including bathrooms also increases the risk.
Symptoms[]
Entering bathrooms can trigger this phobia, but only if plumbing issue are present.
Symptoms when this phobia is triggered include:
Intense shaking
Hyperventilating
Anxiety, feeling of impending doom
In rare cases, loss of consciousness
And in exceptionally rare cases: heart attack
