Mesanchytophobia (from Greek: μεσάνυχτα - mesanchyta (midnight)) is the fear of the hour midnight, it is associated with Oudenophobia, as midnight is displayed as 0:00 or 00:00 in standard 24-hour time.
Some Mesanchytophobes believe that 12:00 AM is the witching hour. They Believe that at Midnight a scary 0 with a knife invisible to humans invades their home, With it attacking when you don’t try to fall or aren’t asleep. The 0 also sings a song inhearable to humans. Mesanchytophobes often stick to the 12-hour format. Mesanchytophobes struggle with any thoughts of waking up or being awake at Midnight. When they wake up at the middle of the night, they are often too scared to check the hour in fear that they woke up at midnight.
There is no known cure for Mesanchytophobia, as only a small percentage of people have it.
