Phobia Wiki

Lupophobia (from Latin lupus, "wolf") or lycophobia (from Greek lykos, "wolf") is the fear of wolves or werewolves.

This phobia is often triggered by the sight of a wolf or werewolf, even in a film or TV show, or the sound of a wolf’s howl. Those who suffer from this phobia worry that they may get attacked or killed by wolves or werewolves. If a lupophobe is afraid of werewolves, they may fear becoming a werewolf themself or possibly believe that they are already a werewolf.

Those who fear werewolves also tend to fear full moons (mestoselenophobia), which are said to turn werewolves into their monstrous form. This can lead them to stay indoors and isolate themselves from other people during a full moon.
