Hypnophobia (also known as Somniphobia/Clinophobia) is the fear of going to sleep even when feeling tired. Some people that have this fear may have medical problems because sleeping is required for your health.
People with this phobia might worry of nightmares, wetting the bed, sleep paralysis, night terrors or either sleep is related to death in the sufferer's case. The name is derived from the word somnus, meaning sleep and phobos, meaning fear (did i really have to point this out),while the rest of the words have the same meaning.
